In my youth, I often watched action movies, I was attracted to this genre for its entertainment. Now I prefer psychological thrillers or dramas, that is, films with deep meaning. But when I found out about the release of the film The Fugitive (orig. KANDAHAR) , I decided to watch it. So, in today’s review I want to share my impressions.

The film turned out to be atmospheric, it was filmed in the best traditions of American action films, where chases, explosions, gunfights literally do not stop for a minute. Gerard Butler is in great shape and plays flawlessly.

It is a pleasure to look at him even at a dusty, dirty, wounded one. I was also interested in the scene where the Taliban council is taking place. It was interesting to see what kind of issues its members are discussing and how it all happens.

The film caused mixed emotions in me. I hoped that everything is so Mohammed with the help of a CIA agent will find his wife’s sister, but alas, ah.
The picture is definitely spectacular and will appeal to those who love dynamics, gunfights, and cool chases.

The ending was predictable, but it seems to me that one should not expect any intrigue from films of this genre. The soundtracks are very beautiful and fit perfectly with the plot.
I’m not sure I’ll watch it again The Fugitive (orig. KANDAHAR) , but I don’t regret the time spent.

Description of the film
Film Fugitive 90 004 is about a CIA officer who failed in his mission in Afghanistan.
He was revealed and now the main character has to quickly escape to Kandahar, where there may be a chance to escape. The elite special forces of the enemy troops and the best mercenaries from all over the world are chasing him. In the hope of being rescued, the operative shows all his courage and ingenuity in order to get to the target, tries to survive at all costs and moves in the direction of places where allied helicopters can be, capable of rescuing him from the hot spot.
The film is directed by Gerard Butler and stars Bahadore Foladi, Ali Fazal, Olivia-Mae Barrett, Rebecca Calder, Nina Toussaint-White, Ross Berkeley Simpson, Hakim Joma, Vassilis Koukalani, Tom Rees Harris and other foreign artists.
This action-packed action movie is directed by Rick Roman Waugh (Greenland) and written by Mitchell LeFortune. McGregor is responsible for the visuals and cinematography here, Colby Parker Jr. is responsible for editing, and David Buckley is responsible for the musical accompaniment of the thriller.
