The NE63T8511SS is available in four finishes, including black, white, black stainless steel, and regular stainless steel.
The black and white models cost an additional $95.
The versatile ceramic glass cooktop has five burners in total. The two front burners are dual-zone, and the back three are single-zone. The back center burner is a warming zone.
In addition to its standard mounted controls, the Samsung NE63A6511SS can be operated using the Samsung SmartThings app. With the app, users can preheat and adjust the oven temperature and timer remotely. The range can also work with Alexa, Bixby, or Google, if you prefer voice controls.
The range is a breeze to clean. The smooth ceramic cooktop can be wiped down easily, and the oven features steam and pyrolytic cleaning modes for light and heavy stains.

What we like
There is plenty of space on the cooktop and in the oven

The easy-to-clean rangetop can comfortably fit four pots or pans.
Electric burners will never match the speed and precision of induction or gas, but at the very least, the NE63A6511SS’s spacious and versatile rangetop makes up for this shortcoming.
The burner placement means that you could easily heat four separate pots or pans simultaneously. The front two burners are dual-ring, so smaller pots and pans don’t have to be relegated to the rear of the rangetop.
Fortunately, the luxurious approach to space isn’t reserved for the rangetop, as the massive 6.3-cubic-foot oven can comfortably fit multiple racks of food or the largest of Thanksgiving turkeys.

The spacious oven did well in many of our performance tests.
The NE63A6511SS large-capacity oven did well in our cookie, pizza, and pork tests. We roasted a large cut of pork in the oven, and it emerged pretty evenly cooked. The joint was brown on the outside, with only a tiny amount of variation in doneness on the inside.
We also baked a pizza using the standard bake setting. At the end of the test, the pizza dough was cooked all the way through. The only issue we noticed was that the bottom of the crust was very dark, so keep that in mind when setting your timer.
Finally, we baked a few batches of cookies using the standard and convection oven modes. The standard bake setting was the clear MVP resulting in perfectly even cookies from top to bottom.
The convection setting was less impressive. The resulting cookies were perfectly serviceable; however, we noticed that the bottoms of the cookies baked on the upper rack were slightly darker than the bottoms from the lower rack.
Smart tech and features excel for such an affordable range
Despite being available for less than $1,000, the NE63A6511SS comes equipped with several features usually reserved for higher-end ranges.
Like other true convection ovens, it comes with an air fryer setting, and while it didn’t wow us (more on that later), its addition is appreciated.
The range is also Wi-Fi-enabled, allowing users to monitor cooking times and adjust temperatures with their smartphone.
What we don’t like
The air fry mode disappoints

Achieving even baking performance across multiple racks of food proved challenging.
It’s becoming a bit of a tired refrain for the NE63A6511SS at this point, but the air fryer wasn’t particularly impressive during our testing.
We cooked two batches of french fries, one on a plain black cookie sheet with the standard oven setting.
The fries cooked using the standard mode were cooked through, fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside.
Next, we used the included basket and the range’s air fry setting. The resulting fries had several burnt edges and were unevenly cooked inside.
You have to reach across the range to adjust the burner dials
Freestanding electric ranges with rear-mounted burner dials are pretty standard, but they aren’t our preference. Rear controls on an electric range aren’t dangerous per se, but we always feel a little uneasy leaning over spitting and steaming pots and pans to adjust the burner temperatures. On the plus side, the dials are out of reach of curious children.
It preheats slowly, even by electric oven standards
Electric ovens generally take longer to preheat than gas versions, but even by these low standards, the NE63A6511SS was sluggish.
The oven’s standard setting took over 12 minutes to reach the target temperature, which is about 2 minutes slower than the average of 10 minutes for electric ranges.
Warranty
The Samsung NE63A6511SS has a limited one-year warranty, including parts and labor. This type of warranty is standard for a range.

Granted, the air fryer mode may be disappointing, and there are some questionable design choices on display, but ultimately the pros far outweigh the cons in the case of the NE63A6511SS.
If you can stretch your budget by about $250 and want the absolute best of the best, the LG LREL6325F is the best freestanding electric range we’ve tested and features a superior air fryer mode.

Samsung Electronics and MTS operator tested fifth generation networks on a commercial sample – the flagship smartphone Galaxy S20 Ultra – on the Ericsson Radio System base station equipment in Moscow, which allows implementing 5G technology at 2G/3G/4G frequencies.
The smartphone operates simultaneously in 4G and 5G at frequencies of 1800 MHz (2G) and 2100 MHz (3G) using Dynamic Frequency Sharing (DSS) technology. That is, the smartphone can work in 5G at lower frequencies, which in the future will improve communication at long distances from base stations or inside buildings.
As part of the testing, the task was to verify the performance of the Galaxy S20 Ultra smartphone at frequencies of 1800 MHz (2G) and 2100 MHz (3G) with an LTE anchor frequency of 800 MHz – in dynamic frequency allocation (DSS) mode, that is, while using frequencies by technologies 4G/LTE and 5G.
As a result of the tests, the experts found out that the smartphone successfully registers in the 5G network while operating 4G / LTE on Ericsson base station equipment, which is indicated by the 5G icon and signal traffic.
Tests have confirmed the possibility of using dynamic frequency allocation technology for 5G on the S20 Ultra smartphone, which is already available in Russia.
This means that when deploying fifth-generation networks, users will be able to receive 5G services in service areas comparable in coverage to the LTE network.
The
Galaxy S20 Ultra went on sale in Russia in March 2020. The smartphone supports 5G networks in most countries where 5G networks are deployed.
Dynamic frequency allocation is a technology that allows you to simultaneously deploy 4G LTE and 5G networks within the same frequency bands, proportionally distributing frequencies between users of networks of different generations.

Traditionally, when migrating from 2G to 3G and 4G, carriers have had to wait until a sufficient number of users have the right devices ready for the new network. Until recently, it would have been necessary to allocate some of the 4G LTE frequency resources to 5G, despite the fact that today the number of 4G LTE users predominates.
This would reduce the capacity of existing 4G LTE networks.
Dynamic Frequency Allocation addresses this issue with algorithms that allow carriers to share frequencies between 4G LTE and 5G devices, and continuously optimize allocation as customers move from 4G LTE to 5G. Thus, dynamic frequency allocation facilitates the transition to 5G.
According to the decision of the SCRF Commission, it is allowed “to allocate to an indefinite circle of persons for the use of radio electronic means of the 5G / IMT-2020 standard the radio frequency band 24.25-24.65 GHz, including for the purpose of creating technological communication networks, on the territory of the Russian Federation.” This is the first official 5G band for commercial use.
