Overall I am very satisfied with this purchase. I’ve been using this refurb since I got it almost 2.5 years ago. Around the 1.5 year mark the usb-c port started being a little unreliable when using a wired headphones dongle, but is still working perfectly for charging. Around the 2 year mark my sensors(proximity, light, rotation) and camera sometimes just don’t work for a while. I’m not sure if this is related to being refurbished, after doing some research and seeing others have had this problem with OnePlus’s last update.Overall a great purchase, definitely worth the money and still holding up.

The OnePlus Nord N200 5G 64GB – Blue Quantum – Locked T-Mobile is working great. This is replacing a samsung A13 that my son got wet while fishing. He says that this works as good or better that his old samsung. All we had to do was to switch out the sim and turn it on and it works great.

Item was exactly as advertised, looked perfect, Back market transaction was flawless.
Unfortunately after about a week, the phone noticed I was in America and activated an ORoaming program added after I got my original OnePlus 7,which would not let me recover nor make calls till I bought an ORoaming plane for North America.According to the OnePlus groups and chats, the program cannot be shut off nor removed without going into the root.
Phone is now effectively useless and I switched back to my old OnePlus phone til I get a Samsung.

Right now the only problem I have with the phone is the screen wraps around the edge of the phone just enough to get two points of contact while I’m scrolling. And that has nothing to do with the seller that’s a *phone design/big hands* issue that I can fix with a phone case. 100% happy 🤙. Oh it didn’t come with a charger, but 🤷 whatever I’ve got chargers.

Best Unlocked Phones to Unlocked Android Phones

“I have a locked Android phone with an AT&T contract and now I want to buy a new phone. One of my friends suggests that I get an unlocked phone, same with her. To be honest, I don’t understand what unlocked Android phones means and what is the difference between carrier locked phone and device unlocked.”

Many people buy a smartphone from network providers and keep the operator lock until they stop using the device. They can’t use economy packages from other carriers, in part because the phone unlock process is too complicated. To help you improve the user experience, we are going to identify and share the top 10 unlocked phones.

  • Part 1: Benefits of Unlocking Android Phones
  • Part 2: Top 10 Unlocked Android Phones

Part 1: Benefits of Unlocking Android Phones

If you want to buy an unlocked Android phone, you should know what that means. A locked phone is a device that is purchased from a specific network provider and is locked to work with the provider’s SIM card only.

To achieve this, manufacturers usually integrate firmware to lock the phone. In contrast, an unlocked smartphone is not tied to a specific carrier. Thanks to GSM technology, unlocked phones can be used with any carrier.

An unlocked phone provides many benefits, such as:

1. Improved network compatibility. Since unlocked Android phones are not tied to any particular network, you can choose any network and switch it at any time. This is important for people who often travel abroad for work or leisure because they can use local network providers.

2. Save money. An unlocked device may cost more at first because you have to pay the full retail price. In the long run, it’s more beneficial as you don’t have to pay expensive package costs every month. And using a local network provider can save you a lot of roaming charges while traveling. In addition, unlocking a carrier-locked phone with third-party services is not only expensive, but also unsafe.

3. Rich network options. If you have an unlocked Android phone, you can choose your favorite network provider with the best rates and service, or use the same network with your friends. And if you are unhappy with the package, you can change it at any time.

4. Wider range of phone models. Every year, manufacturers cooperate with operators and release several models of phones. This means that carriers only provide a few phone models, but not all. On the other hand, unlocked Android phones work on all phone models that you can choose from.

5. Increase sales value. If you decide to sell your old unlocked smartphone, it can be sold for 20% more than a locked device in the same condition.

6. Enjoy flexibility. A locked phone is limited by firmware, which makes setting up the phone more difficult.

Part 2: Top 10 unlocked phones for Android

With the top 10 unlocked phones below, you can say goodbye to expensive roaming charges.

OnePlus 6T launches today on T-Mobile or Unlocked

OnePlus has made a name for itself among Android enthusiasts by releasing low-cost phones with cutting-edge specs, but that’ll get you there for now. With the OnePlus 6T, the company is finally falling asleep with US carriers. The 6T goes on sale today on T-Mobile and online as an unlocked phone. The phone starts at $549, and OnePlus and T-Mobile have made the carrier version very attractive, despite some definite flaws.

OnePlus 6T is the evolution of OnePlus 6 with glass body, Snapdragon 845 ARM chip and dual camera. It also has Android Pie out of the box. OnePlus has shrunk the bezel around the screen, and the infamous notch is now just a tiny waterdrop notch for the front camera. The rear fingerprint sensor is completely gone. OnePlus is the first company to launch a phone in the US with an in-display fingerprint sensor. However, many will regret losing the headphone jack with the 6T.

Unlocked 6T is available in both glossy and matt black lenses. Storage starts at 128GB this time instead of 64GB, but the $549 base model has 6GB of RAM. For $579 you get 8 GB. There’s also a 256GB storage upgrade for $629.

The unlocked phone is only available on the OnePlus website, but this is by far the “best” version of the phone. It is dual SIM and works on unlocked GSM/LTE networks such as T-Mobile and AT&T. It also supports Verizon LTE network for the first time. Although Verizon won’t sell it in their stores.

OnePlus 6T from T-Mobile is a shiny Mirror Black phone with 128GB of storage and 8GB of RAM for $580. It is blocked by the T-Mobile network and only has one SIM card slot. It’s standard on carrier phones, but it’s all new to OnePlus. For tinkerers, the T-Mobile option is even less desirable. The bootloader cannot be unlocked so you are stuck with the official software and updates will have to go through T-Mobile before they get to the phone. This also means that you cannot join the OnePlus beta using T-Mobile 6T.

Even with this long list of drawbacks, the T-Mobile version will be the best choice for many people. You can get the phone on a $24.17 monthly plan for 24 months, and you can get up to $300 when you trade in your old phone. T-Mobile offers the ultimate value for all OnePlus phones, even the OnePlus One from 2014.

If you’re in the OnePlus 6T market and don’t know which one to get, the unlocked option is a safer long-term bet.
