Learn to control time – new characters have the ability to change the course of battle, gaining precious seconds and using them to their advantage. When battle-hardened warriors have to fight old versions of themselves, and time distortions significantly affect the nature of the fights, you begin to doubt that you even know anything about Mortal Kombat, because a hitherto invisible almighty force is now also a participant in this brutal tournament.
