Ch’od isn’t exactly a household name, and his immense size and bulk further stacked the deck against him ever getting a 6” figure release. Luckily, we are in a golden age of Marvel and X-Men toys, and most of the tooling to build the Starjammers’ powerhouse already existed. And so, collectors can now complete the Marvel Legends Ch’od Build-A-Figure by purchasing this year’s X-Men wave. Should they?

Corsair is a character I kind of got off on the wrong foot with, as my earliest memories of him are me as a kid shoving aside piles of his 90s Toybiz X-Men figure while searching for the (stupidly shortpacked) first Phoenix/Jean Grey figure ever. I never bought that vintage Corsair, and never had much desire to own a toy of him. But Hasbro decided I’d need to buy Marvel Legends Corsair to complete the Ch’od Build-A-Figure (who’s already been discounted on Amazon), so here he is! Is this a definitive toy of the Summers family patriarch? Here’s my review…

uentin Quire is likely my favorite comic book character to debut in the new millennium, so I was more than a little hyped to see the Grant Morrison-created rebellious young adult’s name being bandied about on rumored lists of upcoming X-Men Legends figures last year. The future Phoenix host and omega-level mutant has gained a lot of prominence and popularity over the years, and the time seemed ripe for his first action figure. Even so, the design of this Marvel Legends Kid Omega figure… probably wasn’t what many of QQ’s fans had in mind. But if you’re building the Ch’od BAF, you’ll need Kid Omega nonetheless. So let’s have a look at the pink-haired punk’s debut figure…

Gladiator Hulk is unquestionably in the upper echelon of best Marvel Legends Build-A-Figures that Hasbro has ever done from a marketing perspective. As the highly hyped co-star of Thor Ragnarok, basically every MCU movie figure collector set their eyes on owning a Gladiator Hulk BAF from the film. But not every fan could or wanted to buy a whole $120 6-figure set for the armor-clad Jade Giant, and those collectors were left out in the cold—until now. With a new extra head and a few updated paints, the individually sold Amazon Exclusive Marvel Legends Gladiator Hulk is now up for pre-order!

Cyclops may not be an Omega-level mutant in the X-Men comics, but he’s unquestionably an Omega-level X-Men merch seller. Scott Summers sells likes wildfire every time Hasbro releases a 6” Marvel Legends figure of him in any of his closet of costumes, so it’s not shocking that Hasbro is revisiting a popular costume they first released over a decade and a half ago. X-Men Legends Astonishing Cyclops is now arriving. Does this new version surpass the one from the Brood Queen series?

Mantis was a controversial choice to be the Build-A-Figure way back in the Marvel Legends Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 series six years ago, but in the 2023 Marvel Legends Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 Cosmo wave, Mantis finally gets the single-packed shelf presence at retail that she deserves. Is the new GOTG Legends Mantis figure worth adding to your team roster…?

Kraglin is the sort of character that—played by James Gunn’s brother or not—I’d have insisted anyone who said we’d ever see on retail store shelves was lying. But 9 years later, here we are—and here Marvel Legends Kraglin is on the pegs at Target. Kraglin is also available shipping from online retailers now—is this fourth most famous Ravager worth ordering for yourself?

It may seem like just yesterday that the Toys R Us Exclusive Marvel Legends Dark Phoenix & Cyclops two-pack was in stores, but it was actually six long years (and one Toys R Us bankruptcy) ago. Prices for those figures long ago went wild on the aftermarket, and many fans were left without perhaps the most iconic Marvel female villain of all in their collections. But Hasbro heard the cries and responded, and now the Marvel Legends Dark Phoenix Retro figure is shipping out at a fraction of the price of the original’s aftermarket. But is this updated Jean Grey an upgrade…?

Hasbro is taking the slow approach to building the classic Guardians of the Galaxy team in Marvel Legends 6” figure form. Six years after Vance Astro made the scene in the 2017 Titus Series, he’s finally getting some backup this year in the form of a Target Exclusive Yondu figure! Is the long-awaited classic archer worth adding to your ranks? Here’s my review of the newly released Yondu…

Spiral is one of those characters I could have happily gone my whole life without buying an action figure of… if she hadn’t been a playable character in the Marvel vs. Capcom video game series. Playing a few minutes of her as a mediocre character there did what decades of comic book appearances as Mojo’s lackey did not, and I knew I’d eventually indulge in a toy of her. I missed the first Target exclusive version 16 years ago, but the six-armed sorceress is back again as part of this year’s X-Men Marvel Legends Retro series! The 2023 Marvel Legends Spiral figure is shipping now—should you scoop her up in all her many-limbed glory?

revealed an all-new Marvel Legends Spider-Man wave last week, but played coy by not showing the packaging or mentioning the series Build-A-Figure at all. And now it’s clear why: the 2023 Marvel Legends Spider-Man “Retro” wave is now up for pre-order, including no Build-A-Figure and a mix of vintage-styled and all-new cardback packaging for the figures!

ot is one of those classic X-Men characters that you can count on showing up every few years in a supporting role (most often in some rehashed Mojo plotline), hanging around for a short tenure and then slinking back into his off-page status quo. I don’t mind Longshot’s guest appearances, but I’ve long since given up on any lasting character development or changes to him. But even so, it’s been 17 years since Toybiz made their version of ML Longshot, so I was happy to smash the pre-order button when the Hasbro Marvel Legends 2023 Longshot went up for order. Was it a lucky purchase? Here’s my review…

News – Childhood joys: legendary Mattel toys – 18.08.17 | Toys
08/18/2017
Barbie, Hot Wheels, Fisher Price, Thomas the Tank Engine – modern parents know these names as well as their children. The brands that have already become legendary are produced by Mattel Corporation. And since June 2017, Sima-land has become its official dealer. This means that it is here that you will be the first to see the manufacturer’s new products, learn about promotions – and be able to please the kids with toys with their favorite characters.
How it all began
In 1945, Mattel produced plastic and wooden furniture, only waste products were used to make equipment for dolls. By the 50s, the creation of toys becomes the main direction, and the company decides to release the world’s first commercials. Since then, all children know what to ask their parents, and Mattel continues to please with new products.
Barbie: Meet the Legend
Ruth Handler, wife of one of the founders of Mattel, noticed that her daughter liked paper models depicting adult women more than baby dolls, which were mainly sold in stores. She decides to make her own version of the German Bild Lilli souvenir toy, turning it from a fashion doll into a modern toy industry phenomenon.
Today Barbie is a positive image of a free girl. There are noticeably more types of the famous beauty: you will meet Barbie with rounded shapes, tall and short, with different hair and skin colors.
Hot Wheels: the adventure begins
The first cars of the popular brand were created in 1968 by professional car designer Harry Bentley Bradley. These were smaller versions of the Plymouth Barracuda, Chevrolet Corvette, Chevrolet Camaro, Ford Mustang, Volkswagen, Skoda and other serial tuned and racing models. Today, Hot Wheels produces collectible vehicles, creates licensed cars based on animated films, makes auto tracks and parking lots. All details of the tracks are compatible with each other, and the cars will fit any track.
Fisher Price: Taking care of babies
Toys for children from the first days of life are represented by the Fisher Price brand. Since 1930, the company has developed over 5,000 models. The main goal of the founders was to awaken the imagination of the crumbs and offer him a lot of new, amazing and fun.
Today, Fisher Price also makes products that make life more comfortable for mom and baby, and creates products under license from movie companies. Winnie the Pooh, Dora the Traveler, Kung Fu Panda and other popular characters became the main characters for the manufacture of modern toys of the brand.
Mega Bloks: a new generation of building blocks
Founded in 1967, the company still continues to amaze with a variety of basic sets, themed series with sound, light effects and radio control. Kids love playing with their favorite characters, modeling and building sets to create their own magical world.
New: heroes come to life
Mattel is constantly evolving and can’t stay away from the preferences of today’s children. Screen heroes instantly turn into plastic figures, complete with accessories.
In the autumn-winter 2017 season, children will find the guardians of the Enchantimals magical forest, building kits with characters from the video game HALO, dolls from the cartoon “Dasha the Traveler”, fantastic figures of Wonder Woman and other surprises. And for schoolchildren, Mattel’s assortment includes stationery with popular characters.
You will find new and favorite Mattel sets in our section.

Review of toys from the cartoon The Flash and the Wonder Cars
If you have a child aged three years and older, you have probably already heard about such a phenomenon as the animated series The Flash and the Wonder Cars, and perhaps even already managed to watch it from a couple of episodes with your child – the story is very exciting!
And if you have a little lover of cars growing up, most likely, you have already been repeatedly asked to buy Transforming cars and other toys made by TM Fisher-Price specifically for Flash and Wonder Cars. Yes, yes – the legendary manufacturer of children’s goods, which is famous for its highest quality, certified production technologies and the complete safety of its products for children, has signed a contract with the creators of the cartoon, so that they are the only ones who have the right to create toy copies of the cartoon characters.
What is the secret behind the popularity of Blaze and the Wonder Cars toys?
Of course, in the story told in the cartoon! Blaze and the Monster Machines is breaking all records in the rating tables: its popularity among children around the world is growing every day, and the main reason for this is a gripping storyline that can compete with the best Hollywood blockbusters!
is the brainchild of the Nickelodeon TV channel, the first episode of which started on October 28, 2014. “Blaze and the Monster Machines” became so popular that after twenty episodes of the first season, it was renewed first for the second, then for the third – and on June 21, 2016, the creation of the fourth season was also approved. According to the creators, their goal is to instill in kids an interest in such areas as science, technology, engineering and mathematics .
So, what is the story about?
The story tells about the boy AJ, who drives a red pickup truck named Flash, and the car here acts not so much as a means of transportation, but as a friend for the protagonist. AJ has a passion for technology, while Blaze dreams of becoming a real racer. In addition, they have true friends, but there are also enemies.
We have selected for you toys based on the images of the characters and will briefly describe each of them.
We refer to human characters:
- AJ is the main character, an eight year old boy who drives a pickup truck and is the natural leader of this whole gang
- Gabby is his girlfriend, a nine-year-old mechanic girl. She always comes to the aid of Blaze and his fellow cars
Car characters include:
- Flash is a brave and courageous leader of the company, raves about a career as a race car driver
- Starla is the only girl in the group. Honest, funny, loves the cowboy theme, can twirl a lasso and has a brave heart
- Rick (or Roar) is the main prankster of the whole company, loves fun and has some features of a tiger.
- In addition, there are also Zeg and Daredevil – two more comrades from the company. Zeg has some Triceratops traits, while Daredevil has stuntman abilities.
And there are also negative car characters in this universe:
- Crusher – blue truck. He has bad manners and is very envious, which is why he puts spokes in the wheels of Flash at any opportunity – in a figurative sense, of course.
- Cucumber is green and bold, always trying to poke fun at Flash and his friends, but at the same time he always hides behind the back of Crusher’s car in case of danger.
Off-road toys have large wheels on springs – they can move in different directions and be fixed in predetermined positions. All cars in this category are enlarged copies of the standard models: they are all 15 cm long and come in a 10 cm x 22 cm x 18 cm box.
For comparison, this is what the “classic” version of the play figure of the villain named Pickle looks like. Such models have a lower cost, but this is not reflected in the quality: dense and lightweight plastic, certified quality and complete safety for babies remain unchanged in each model.
Cars “Cucumber”, “Crusher” and others – where to buy toys from the cartoon?
We invite you to join our gang – that’s right, because all those who buy toys in Bi automatically become a member of our family! And so that you like to shop with us and come back to us again, we try every day. So that you get the maximum pleasure from the game, in our store there are not only figures, but also full-fledged sets, such as this set “Superloop”.
The launch pad rotates 360 degrees and the track allows you to do nine different tricks. Collect and launch your favorite action figures with super boost and super loop ability!
Here’s what makes Flash and the Wonder Cars different from others:
- Fisher-Price has the rights to use the appearance of the cartoon characters – and therefore the toys that you buy from us will fully correspond to their on-screen prototypes.
- Thanks to a responsible approach to production, TM Fisher-Price makes toys as strong and durable as possible: they are made of lightweight, but at the same time durable plastic, which is not afraid of falls and bumps. All cars have streamlined shapes – this helps to avoid injuries during the game, and protects the toys themselves from chips and cracks.
- All of the materials used to make these toys are non-toxic to the child: even if he or she decides to try Fisher-Price’s toy cars, no harm will come. Although of course, try to avoid such incidents.
In order to purchase a certified toy, pay attention to the packaging and the manufacturer. In addition, we recommend that you buy Blaze and Wonder Cars toys only in trusted stores.
As you can see, the advantages of these products are at least full, and at the maximum – innumerable! Such toys will appeal to those who cannot live without their favorite series and do not miss a single episode, and those who are simply looking for modern, beautiful and bright toys for their child.
