Sometimes, bigger really is better, and if you’re looking for the consumer tablet with the biggest screen, you’ve come to the right place. A tablet with a big, bright, glorious, high-resolution screen can be great for working, streaming, drawing, photo editing, digital painting, gaming, and much more, but with so many models on the market, it can be tough to find the biggest screen for your dollar. That’s where we come in.
In this guide to big-screen tablets, we’ve made five solid recommendations. First up, we’ve picked out the best tablets that offer the biggest screens right now – in this case, a whopping 14.6-inch display. Reasons to buy
Huge, high-quality screen
Not too heavy, considering
S-Pen is great for drawing
Reasons to avoid
Battery life isn’t amazing
So big it’s unwieldy
Well, you asked for it, and we delivered – the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is the tablet with the biggest screen that you can buy right now. Its monster Super AMOLED display measures a whopping 14.6 inches down the diagonal, and with a 120 hz refresh rate, it looks gorgeous in use. It delivers impressive brightness, generally between 300 and 600 nits, with enough power for content to be clearly displayed even in bright light. If you want a tablet for watching movies, you’re going to be absolutely spoiled with this one.
Big screens are especially useful for those who use their tablets as drawing surfaces, and accordingly, the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra comes bundled with Samsung’s fabulous S-Pen stylus. Beautifully balanced, with just the right heft to feel like a real pen, the S-Pen makes drawing and writing on the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra a smooth, effortless experience. And you’ll certainly have room to do so.
Reviews of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra since its release in 2022 have been positive, if not exactly rapturous. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 CPU means the tablet performs snappily and apps load up more or less instantly, though in terms of raw power, it lags slightly behind iPad rivals with their proprietary Apple-made M2 chips.
Most of the real criticisms of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra are things that are just kind of baked into the premise when you buy a tablet with such a ludicrously capacious screen. While it only weighs 1.6 lbs, you’ll need a big bag to transport it, and it doesn’t exactly rest comfortably on the lap. Battery life is fine but not great for a tablet of this type, with most testers finding it lasting between nine and ten hours. And you don’t exactly have to look hard for the reason why that is, not when it’s blasting you in the face with 300-600 nits of brightness.
Ultimately though, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra delivers what we’re asking for – it’s the tablet with the biggest screen.
More big-screen tablets
Not convinced by the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra? We’ve rounded up a few alternatives in this section. While their screens aren’t as big as the S8’s, they’re still some of the largest you can get, and each tablet has its own strengths and idiosyncrasies that may suit you better.
Microsoft Surface Pro 9
Screen size: 13-inch
Released: Oct 2022
This 2-in-1 laptop and tablet from Microsoft comes in a few different configurations, so you can choose the RAM and CPU in accordance with how much you’re willing to pay. We’re here for the display though, aren’t we, and in this department the Surface Pro 9 is very impressive. The 13-inch 3:2 panel delivers a 120 Hz refresh rate and 2,880 x 1,920 resolution. It’s compatible with active styluses for drawing, and brightness has been upped a little from the previous Surface Pro. You can turn down both the brightness and the refresh rate to help prolong the battery life too. In reviews, the Surface Pro 9 generally scores well for its display and speed, with criticisms focusing on the limited port selection (no USB-A, no headphone jack) and connectivity – no 5G in this version.
- Excellent, vivid display
- Stylus compatibility
- 2-in-1 form factor
- Meagre port selection
- No 5G connectivity
Apple iPad Pro 12.9
Released: Oct 2022
To the casual observer, the sixth-generation Apple iPad Pro 12.9 looks a lot like the fifth-generation version from the previous year. And the casual observer is bang on the money there, because frankly, there’s not a lot of difference. The biggest change is the inclusion of Apple’s proprietary M2 chip, which puts the iPad Pro 12. 9’s computing power on par with a desktop. Not everyone will need that, but it’s undeniably impressive. As is the absolutely gorgeous 12.9-inch mini-LED display, which is sharp and bright, with DCI-P3 support for color accuracy. The battery life is rated to 10 hours, a little more than many others on our list, though of course this will depend on how you use the tablet, with intense processing tasks draining it faster.
- Super-fast M2 chip
- Decent battery life
- Cool ‘Pencil Hover’ feature
- Minor generational upgrade
- A pricey proposition
Lenovo Tab P12 Pro
Released: Sep 2021
While this sizeable tablet is more affordable than the iPad Pro 12.9 or the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, it’s still not quite what you’d call cheap. Still, you get a lot for your money, including an AMOLED 2K screen measuring 12. 6 inches. It also comes with a responsive stylus, and what’s more, unlike many of the other tablets in this guide, it comes with a built-in quad speaker setup that’s pretty decent. While you might think most people would rely on headphones when streaming on a tablet, models like the Lenovo Tab P12 Pro are big enough for multiple people to watch on at once, so it makes sense to have decent built-in audio. In terms of raw computing power though, it does lag behind its competitors from Apple and Samsung.
- Cheaper than rivals
- Stylus bundled in
- Solid quad speaker setup
- Still relatively costly
- Not as fast as rivals
Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE
Released: May 2021
A cheaper option than many other Samsung tablets, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE packs the same-size 12.4-inch screen as its stablemate, the Galaxy Tab S7+. However, in order to keep the price low it cuts down on a few features; the display is LCD rather than OLED, the refresh rate is only 60 Hz, and the resolution is 1600 x 2560 pixels. You might think this a recipe for a sub-par screen experience, but reviewers of the Galaxy Tab S7 FE have generally been pleasantly surprised. Content generally looks good on this tablet – there’s no HDR pop, but it’s sufficient for most purposes, and the 16:10 aspect ratio is pleasant for reading. The low RAM means this probably isn’t one for gaming, but for day-to-day browsing and general productivity tasks, it’ll work just fine.
- Affordable price point
- Pleasing display
- Comes with stylus
- Low 60 Hz refresh rate
- Middling RAM
Why get a large-screen tablet?
What are the advantages of a large-screen tablet?
Why you can trust Top Ten Reviews
Our expert reviewers spend hours testing and comparing products and services so you can choose the best for you. Find out more about how we test.
It might seem obvious – because it is – but the main advantage of large-screen tablets is, well, they have a big screen. This comes with all sorts of pros: you can better see the content being displayed, which can make streaming or gaming a much more enjoyable proposition. They are more comfortable to work on if you use your tablet for serious productivity tasks – programs like Photoshop, Premiere or Krita will be much easier to use.
On that subject, many people use consumer tablets for drawing, and a bigger tablet is going to provide a much more expansive working surface. As such, you’ll probably want to get a tablet with active stylus compatibility, and ideally a proprietary stylus like the Apple Pencil 2 or Samsung’s S-Pen bundled in.
Bigger tablets also tend to be more powerful – partly because they tend to be a manufacturer’s premium flagship models, and partly because they simply have more space inside for the relevant components. This will mean they can better handle processor-intensive tasks such as gaming or video editing. Some, like the iPad Pro 12.9, are powerful enough to stand in for a laptop, and when you’ve also got a screen that’s comparable in size to a small television, a large-screen tablet starts to look like a pretty versatile device to have in the home.
What are the trade-offs of a large-screen tablet?
Of course, there are also reasons you might decide against buying a large-screen tablet. The fact that they are powerful, premium models is going to mean that the price tag is inevitably higher than a small screen tablet, and as such, it may not be worth the cash if you’re not planning on really putting that big screen to work.
Furthermore, something you may have noticed while perusing our entries above is that a lot of large-screen tablets don’t have the best battery life. Pumping out the power required for that display can be quite draining on a battery, and if you’re planning to use your large-screen tablet for extended periods, it may be wise to keep a power bank handy.
Finally, the sheer size of large-screen tablets can make them impractical for many of the ways that people like to use tablets. They can be difficult to hold or balance on your lap for extended periods of time, and you may need to invest in a sizeable bag if you want to transport them from place to place. A large-screen tablet can be one of the most versatile devices in your home; it’s just important to be mindful of both the pros and the cons before you click “buy”.

Best Tablets With Large Screens
Anything smaller than 70 inches is child’s play for you when it comes to TVs, your laptop exceeds the 16-inch mark and the display of your smartphone can’t be big enough for you? Then you probably also like a huge screen on your tablet. Because let’s face it – the bigger the screen, the more fun you’ll have watching your favorite movies.
As every year, we present the best tablets with a 12-inch screen or larger. But what is often true in life also applies to tablets: size is not the only decisive factor. A good display is not only large, but also high-contrast, high-resolution and bright. Ideally, it also supports 120 Hz. The tablet’s speakers are also important for high-quality entertainment. Hardware performance and the operating system also play an important role when working and gaming.
If you primarily want to stream movies and series with your tablet and surf the web a bit, the computing power of your tablet does not play a significant role. If you primarily want to play demanding games or edit 4k videos, you should not only look for a large and good display, but also enough hardware power. If you want to replace your laptop completely, the Microsoft Surface Pro 9 might be the right choice for you. This tablet offers the full Windows that you know from your desktop, without any restrictions.
We want to give you as much useful information as possible in this article to find out which is the best tablet with a large display for you.

- Best overall: Apple iPad Pro 12.9 (on Amazon*). In terms of hardware power, build quality, display and app variety, the Apple iPad Pro 12.9″ is the measure of all things. It has a great mini-LED screen with great contrasts, bright colors, 120 Hz and super brightness and masters even the most demanding tasks. The optionally available, very good Apple Pencil 2 and the optional keyboard covers are also praiseworthy. Furthermore, Apple is known for providing its devices with software updates for many years. The S8 Ultra even comes with a screen diagonal of 14.6 inches and offers a resolution of 2960 x 1848 pixels with 120 Hz. The displays of both devices look fantastic and are the spearhead on the tablet market. It’s also nice that the high-quality stylus is included, unlike Apple. The optionally available keyboard cover is also very good. Samsung’s good software philosophy is also praiseworthy. For example, Samsung promises four major Android updates for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8 series and wants to provide security updates for five years.
- Best all-in-one tablet with Windows: Microsoft Surface Pro 9 (on Amazon*). The Microsoft Surface Pro 9 looks like a normal tablet, but it is actually a full-fledged Windows PC. The advantage is that all Windows programs run without restrictions, and you can use the device as a full desktop replacement. The Microsoft Surface Pro 9 has a 13-inch screen with a resolution of 2880 x 1920 pixels. In terms of display technology, it does not come close to the iPad Pros or Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S8+ or S8 Ultra. However, the screen is still on a very good level.
- Best Samsung alternative: Lenovo Tab P12 Pro (on Amazon*). The Lenovo Tab P12 Pro is the cheaper alternative to Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S8 series and convinces with a chic 12.6-inch AMOLED display, high performance, a long battery life, and a high-quality build. Like Samsung, the stylus is included and there is also an optional keyboard. This can even be operated separately from the tablet. However, Samsung’s S Pen is a bit better. Lenovo will probably not update its tablet with as many software updates as Samsung.
- Good entertainment all-rounder: Lenovo Yoga Tab 13 (on Amazon*). The Lenovo Yoga Tab 13 has a 13-inch LCD display with 60 Hz, is fully laminated and has a resolution of 2160 x 1350 pixels. Unique selling points are the built-in folding stand and the micro-HDMI port. The four speakers of the Lenovo Yoga Tab 13 are also very good and the tablet has a fast processor that is powerful enough for demanding games. The tablet is also cheaper than the Lenovo Tab P12 Pro.
- Big screen for little money: Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE (on Amazon*). The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE is the right tablet for you if you want a large 12.4-inch display without having to dig too deep into your pocket. For less than 500 Dollars you get a stylish LCD screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and 60 Hz. The display is also fully laminated.
- Cheapest tablet with a large screen: Honor Pad 8 (on Amazon*). The Honor Pad 8 currently costs around 350 Euros. The 12-inch IPS panel has a resolution of 2,000 by 1,200 pixels. If you primarily want to stream movies and series in 1080p on your tablet and want a large screen and good speakers, the Honor Pad 8 is a good and inexpensive choice. However, it’s not powerful enough for complex games and technically demanding apps.
Best Tablets With Giant Displays: All Details
Let’s now look at our recommendations in detail.
Apple iPad Pro 12.9: Our overall winner
Apple iPad Pro
The Apple iPad Pro 12.9-inch has a large, high-quality mini-LED display with a resolution of 2732 x 2048 pixels, 264 ppi and 120 Hz. Thanks to the mini-LED technology, the iPad Pro delivers great contrast values, vibrant colors and a deep black level, comparable to OLED displays.
The maximum SDR brightness is 600 nits, and even up to 1,600 nits peak brightness is possible for HDR content thanks to the mini-LED technology. The display is also fully laminated.
The four speakers of the Apple iPad Pros offer a great sound.
In our battery test, the iPad Pro came to a runtime of 6 hours while we played a YouTube video in HD at full brightness on continuous loop. If you reduce the brightness a bit, you should be able to get much more out of the battery.
A Look At The Best ASUS 12″ Notebook Laptops
The iPad Pro offers WiWi 6E is is optionally available as a 5G version.
The Apple iPad Pro is the most powerful tablet on the market. With the M2 chip, the current Apple iPad Pros offer the same chip that is also installed in the current Apple MacBook Pros. Thus, the computing power of the iPad Pro should be sufficient for years to come to use hardware-hungry games and demanding apps like the editing program Davinci Resolve.
Beyond that, we like the great Apple Pencil 2, but it has to be purchased separately and is no bargain at 149 Euros.
The optionally available iPad keyboards also have a high quality and are ideal for writing.
We also praise the great workmanship, Face ID facial recognition, the good cameras and the LIDAR sensor.
If you’re looking for a tablet with a large, fantastic display and the best processing power on the market, you’ll make the premium choice with the Apple iPad Pro 12.9-inch.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+
You’ll also make a great choice with the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 series if you love tablets with huge, high-quality displays.
The Galaxy Tab S8+ offers a 12.4-inch display and the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra comes with a huge 14.6-inch screen. Both tablets feature a Super AMOLED display with 120 Hz, great contrasts and colors, and a deep black level. The Galaxy Tab S8+ has a resolution of 2960 × 1440 pixels. The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra delivers a resolution of 2960 × 1848 pixels. Both displays are fully laminated. In our opinion, the Galaxy Tab S8+ and Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra offer the best displays on the market. Media consumption on the two Samsung flagships is also really fun thanks to the four integrated very good stereo speakers.
Thanks to Widevine Level from L1, you can watch Netflix and other streaming services in 1080p on both tablets. The S8+ and S8 Ultra also support HDR 10.
The tablets offer Wi-Fi 6E and there is an optional 5G version.

We also appreciate the fingerprint scanner, the good cameras, the high-quality build, and the strong hardware in both tablets, which leaves all other Android tablets behind. Also commendable: The very good S Pen is already included, and there are also optionally available keyboard covers.
The Galaxy Tab S8+ and Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra ship with Android 12 and are supposed to receive four major Android upgrades as well as five years of security updates.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+ and Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra are the best big-screen Android tablets.

Microsoft Surface Pro 9: Best Windows Tablet
Microsoft Surface Pro 9
The Microsoft Surface Pro 9 is the best Windows tablet on the market.
It has a 13-inch display with an aspect ratio of 3:2 and a resolution of 2880 x 1920 pixels and 120 Hz. The Microsoft Surface Pro 9 offers a brightness of 450 nits and thus does not come close to the Apple iPad Pro with an SDR brightness of 600 nits, for example. Contrast, colors and brightness are on a good level, but not as convincing as the iPad Pro or the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 series.
The tablet offers a chic design with a practical kickstand and a great keyboard. The camera quality is also good and is super suitable for video calls.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 9 comes with Windows 11.
The advantage of Windows is that it also runs the desktop versions of programs like Exel, Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Pro as well as Windows Games. All Windows accessories can also be used. However, the Microsoft Surface Pro 9 is very expensive compared to a conventional laptop with the same equipment.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 9 currently costs 1299 euros in the basic configuration with 128 GB SSD.

Lenovo Tab P12 Pro: Great Samsung alternative
Lenovo Tab P12 Pro
The Lenovo Tab P12 Pro is a cheaper alternative to the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 series.
The tablet convinces with a great 12.6-inch AMOLED display, which is fully laminated and supports 120 Hz. The build quality of the Lenovo Tab P12 Pro is on the same high level as that of Apple and Samsung. The tablet has a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and great contrast, color and black values. It’s also suitable for HDR content and you can stream Netflix and the like in HD. The four speakers are also great and are comparable with the sound quality of Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S8+.
Also nice: Lenovo’s Precision Pen 3 is already included.
If you want to write longer texts with Lenovo’s Tab P12 Pro, you can buy Lenovo’s official keyboard for 150 Euros. It can be magnetically connected to the tablet and also used separately. A fingerprint scanner is located in the tablet’s power button. It works quickly and precisely.
Lenovo’s Tab P12 Pro also offers a microSD card slot and a USB C 3.1 Gen 2 port. An external monitor can be connected there, for example.
Our favorite feature: Via an app on your laptop, you can use the Lenovo Tab P12 Pro as an additional monitor for your notebook. The tablet’s touchscreen can then even still be used.
In our battery test, the Lenovo Tab P12 Pro achieved a great runtime of 11 hours. For the test, we ran an HD YouTube video at maximum brightness in an endless loop.
The performance of the Lenovo Tab P12 Pro is only slightly weaker than that of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 series and thus belongs to the upper class in the Android universe.
The Lenovo Tab P12 Pro does not quite come close to the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+ and Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra as a total package, but it is a bit cheaper in return.

Lenovo Yoga Tab 13: Good entertainment all-rounder
Lenovo Yoga Tab 13
The Lenovo Yoga Tab 13 has a 13-inch LCD display with 60 Hz and is fully laminated. It delivers a resolution of 2160 x 1350 pixels. The four speakers of the Lenovo Yoga Tab 13 sound very good. The tablet has a USB C 3.1 Gen 1 port that can also be used to connect external monitors.
We find the built-in folding stand and the micro-HDMI port particularly convenient.
The tablet has a fast processor that is powerful enough for demanding games.
The Lenovo Yoga Tab 13 also supports the Lenovo Precision Pen 2.
The workmanship of the stylus looks high-quality. The pen is made of metal, fits comfortably in the hand, and can be charged via USB-C. Although the stylus recognizes 4096 pressure levels and is thus on the same high level as the competition from Apple and Samsung, it does not work quite as precisely as the premium rivals. This could also be due to the screen’s mere 60 Hz.
In our battery test, the Yoga Tab 13 achieved a great runtime of 8.75 hours, beating most of the rivals. As always, we ran an HD video on YouTube with maximum brightness in an endless loop for this test.
To compete with the iPad Pro or Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S8 series, the Lenovo Yoga Tab 13 lacks a better 120 Hz display, more accurate input via stylus, and support for an official keyboard. In return, the Lenovo Yoga Tab 13 is slightly cheaper than the premium competition.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE: Big screen for little money
Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE
The biggest plus point of the Galaxy Tab S7 FE is probably the chic 12.4-inch display. Whether you watch movies, play games or surf the Internet – the large screen of the Galaxy Tab S7 FE is simply a joy.
For currently less than 400 Euros, you get a 12.4-inch LCD screen with 60 Hz and a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels from Samsung.
The screen has a good viewing angle stability and is fully laminated. Moreover, the display is bright enough to still see something outside in a shady spot.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE has two speakers on the right and left. They sound surprisingly good for a mid-range tablet. Thus, gaming and watching movies is fun even without headphones.
The tablet is available in both a WiFi-only and a 5G variant.
In our battery test, the Galaxy Tab S7 FE achieved a good runtime of 7.5 hours at maximum brightness while an HD video on YouTube ran in continuous loop.
The computing power of Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S7 FE is rather average. The hardware cannot keep up with tablets like the Galaxy Tab S7 and S7 Plus. This is also noticeable in games like Fortnite, which can only be played with medium graphics settings on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE. In contrast, higher settings are possible on the Galaxy Tab S7 and S7 Plus.
However, if you primarily want to use the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE for streaming your favorite shows or for surfing, you will not go wrong with the tablet. The high-quality casing, the included S Pen, and the optionally available keyboard cover are particularly praiseworthy. For a moderate price, Samsung delivers a good tablet with a chic 12. 4-inch screen.

Honor Pad 8: Cheapest tablet with a large display
Honor Pad 8
Are you looking for a tablet with a 12-inch display for 300 euros? Then you have found it with the Honor Pad 8.
The LCD display is not that sharp and only has a resolution of 2000 x 1200 pixels. However, this does not bother at all when watching movies and series. When surfing the Internet, however, it is noticeable that texts and icons are not displayed as sharply as on other tablets.
However, media consumption on the Honor Pad 8 is really fun due to the large screen, the good contrast and color values, and the sufficient brightness of 350 nits. The display is also fully laminated, and the tablet appears to have a high-quality build.
The Honor Pad 8 is only available in a Wi-Fi version.
The speakers of the Honor Pad 8 sound really good. The tablet has a total of four speaker slots and eight built-in speakers – four each for low and high frequencies. The sound is not quite as good as the 12.9-inch iPad Pro, but it even sounds slightly better than the Galaxy Tab S7 FE. You will also need an adapter for listening to music via headphones (USB-C to 3.5 mm jack) for the Honor Pad 8 or you can use Bluetooth. As an entertainment tablet for movies and series, the Honor Pad 8 is a good and inexpensive choice.
According to the Geekbench 5 benchmark test, the CPU performance of the Honor Pad 8 is slightly above entry-level tablets like the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8. However, it is clearly beaten by similarly priced tablets in the 10 and 11-inch segment, such as the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite and Xiaomi Pad 5.
The graphics performance is even weaker and games can only be played on low graphics settings.
In our battery test with maximum brightness and an HD YouTube video in an endless loop, the Honor Pad 8 achieved a runtime of 6.5 hours.
If you primarily want to watch videos on your tablet and want a large display and good speakers, the Honor Pad 8 is a good and inexpensive choice. However, if you want to play a game more often or use other more demanding apps, you should rather reach for another tablet.

How To Choose The Best Large-Screen Tablet?
The first thing to look for is the maximum screen-size that you can accommodate. A 13-inch tablet could be a bit challenging to carry around, so go for a device that has a slim form factor.
Once you have sorted the primary requirement, choose the tablet that offers a high-quality display and solid performance to complete your tasks. It should have better viewing angles so that you can use it while sitting on a couch or relaxing in your bed. Another feature to look for is the compatibility with accessories like a keyboard and stylus. It is better to go for a tablet that comes bundled with key accessories like a stylus, stand, and keyboard.
As you can gauge from our list, we highly recommend the iPad Pro, Galaxy Tab S7+, and Surface Pro 7. These are the best large-screen tablets on the market, offering amazing performance and usability.
Entertainment vs. Productivity?
Large-screen tablets often pose a challenge to portability, but if you are someone looking for a wholesome entertainment device that also doubles as a laptop for you, then a large-screen tablet is all you need. All the tablets featured on our list are good for both entertainment and work purposes. You can easily stream videos and play games on these big tablets while also doing regular work like writing and browsing.
Do I Need Stylus For A Large-screen Tablet?
Stylus for large-screen tablets can make the usability better for you. With a stylus, you can explore your creative side and work easily on a large tablet. It also comes in handy for official work like making a spreadsheet and more. A stylus is desirable for a large-screen tablet but not essential. If you are buying a large-screen tablet that does not come bundled with a stylus, then you can avoid buying a stylus separately to stay under budget.
One thing that you should know that not every large-screen tablet supports a stylus. Please check the compatibility before buying a stylus for your tablet. For example, not all the tablets by Samsung support S-Pen, so you must check beforehand.
Consider buying a stylus if you’re in a creative field or spend most of the time on your tablet doing work like making spreadsheets. A stylus can make these tasks easier for you.
How Do We Review Tablets?
At MyNextTablet, we pass each tablet through a series of tests to gauge its performance and usability. We put every tablet under different levels of multitasking to test their performance metrics. Different sets of users in our team put these tablets through various tests and usage. The varied tests help us compare every tablet and record details to bring you in-depth and accurate results.
We run plenty of benchmark tests to fetch accurate scores. And we also have our standard battery test in place that puts the tablets through different loads. When reviewing a device, we make it our primary device daily to judge the performance without discrepancies. We perform all the tasks like gaming, watching movies, browsing, and more to evaluate the performance.
If the tablet includes a stylus and other accessories, we also spend significant time testing the compatibility. For a stylus, we check the pressure-sensitivity, smoothness, battery, and more. And for a paired keyboard accessory, we check the ease of typing and the response time.
What’s the best brand?
It is essential to pick a brand that offers the best quality and after-sale service for their device. You should look for a brand with a proven track record for its responsive customer service and software support by rolling out regular updates.
Brands like Apple and Samsung have a great after-sale service. However, Apple takes the cake with its continual software support and upgrades. Samsung has been trying its best to offer regular software updates for its tablets, but it still has a long way to go.
Go for a brand that has a clean image for its software and product support.
Who is better: iOS, Android, or Windows?
It depends on your key requirements to gauge which OS shall work the best for you.
The iPad OS has a shared ecosystem that allows sharing across other Apple devices easier. This operating system is user-friendly and offers the latest software upgrades without delays. If you are a user looking for dependable software support and a shared ecosystem, then go for an iPad.
If you want an OS that’s highly customizable and offers a slew of options for work and entertainment, then Android OS shall suit you the best. Of course, there are different brands like Samsung, Lenovo, Asus, and others in the segment; you should pick the brand that offers continual software support.
Microsoft’s OS on Surface tablets is great for those who want a cross between a tablet and a Windows laptop. The Windows OS on tablets is a package of functionalities found on laptops, making it easier for users to use such tablets in place of their work machines. If you’re looking for an OS that hits closer to your laptop’s software, then go for a Windows tablet.

Top 10 big screen tablets, review of the best big screen tablets
Decided to buy a big screen tablet? This is the right choice that can even replace an old laptop. A larger diagonal means higher power and speed. Eldoblog recommends the top tablets with a large screen that are suitable for work, games, and children.
Screen size. In our selection, all models are from 10 inches. They are less mobile, but they are suitable for work, games, and even drawing.
Matrix type. IPS is more pleasing to the eye – does not flicker, shows a natural white color. AMOLED delivers rich colors – perfect for games and movies.
Approval. The higher, the clearer the image, but the faster the battery drains. Minimum for 10-inch tablets is HD+ (1280×800).
Processor performance. Pay attention to the results of independent tests, such as AnTuTu. 50,000 points are enough to comfortably watch videos or surf the web, 100,000 are enough to run games with minimal graphics settings, and 200,000 are enough to select high settings, video editing, and drawing.
Autonomy time. 4-5 hours is enough for home or office. If you choose a tablet for travel, you need a minimum of 6 hours.
RAM. Minimum for comfortable web surfing – 2 GB, for games – 3 GB, for graphics – 4 GB.
Permanent memory. 16 GB is enough for 2-3 applications, 32 GB for music and a couple of applications, 64 GB for several movies and a dozen games, 128 GB for large multimedia libraries.
Wireless communications. 4G and Wi-Fi support – Internet access. Bluetooth is needed to synchronize with mice, keyboards and other gadgets. Satellite navigation will determine your location and plot a route.
Chambers. When choosing a tablet with a large screen, read reviews about the quality of photos and videos, and even better, test it in the store. A 5-megapixel camera with autofocus is enough to digitize documents, and an 8-megapixel camera is enough to create clear pictures. But cameras are not the strong point of the tablet. Manufacturers choose them on a residual basis – the best matrices and lenses go to smartphones.
Accessories included. These can be an external keyboard that turns the tablet into a mini laptop, a case, a docking station for recharging and connecting additional equipment, and an electronic pen.
Top 10 Big Screen Tablets in 2021
Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+ WiFi
Vibrant, rich colors bring games, movies, and videos to life. The performance of the flagship processor is enough for 3D animation, complex drawings and even video rendering. The amount of memory is the largest among all Android tablets in 2021. Therefore, the gadget will become a full-fledged replacement for a laptop.
Included is an electronic S Pen for drawing, handwriting or highlighting text. The function button on it will take a photo, switch music or a presentation from 10 meters away. The 13-megapixel dual camera shoots like a smartphone, including bokeh portraits and 4K video.
Screen refresh rate increased to 120 Hz. This is the best tablet in terms of picture quality – the picture looks smooth in games, and 4 AKG speakers with support for Dolby Atmos reproduce surround sound. If you rotate the tablet, then it changes the direction of the signal automatically. When buying, keep in mind the high price – this is a tablet more for professionals than for ordinary users.
You can buy a docking station for a large screen tablet to install it permanently and use it in Daily Board mode. The screen will display the time, date, task list, major news, notifications, and smart home control tools.

Cheaper big screen tablet. The IPS-matrix reproduces an image that is pleasant and safe for the eyes – suitable for working in front of the screen up to 6-8 hours a day. The S Pen stylus has all the features of the “older” model.
The 11-inch screen updates the picture up to 120 times per second – the video is smoother and clearer, and when scrolling the page, it does not “jump”. The battery lasts for 15 hours of video, 8-9 hours of rendering or 6 hours of gaming. The processor power is enough to run PUBG, Call of Duty Mobile and other shooters with maximum settings. But you should not expect a bright picture with an immersive effect – the IPS matrix is inferior to AMOLED panels in terms of color saturation and black depth.
Sold separately with a keyboard that makes text entry easier. It connects via a connector on the right side – it works faster compared to Bluetooth models.

screen and S Pen. The stylus recognizes more than 2000 levels of pressing force – you can draw graceful strokes and wide lines. The pen works at any angle, and the screen blocks accidental taps – no special glove is needed. But, unlike older models, Tab S6 Lite will not “pull” work with three-dimensional models and complex animation.
A good big tablet provides inexpensive mobile communications. When synchronizing with a smartphone, it automatically switches to Wi-Fi hotspot mode. Samsung Knox technology reliably protects your files – it blocks information at the hardware level when viruses and hacker attacks are detected.
AKG stereo speakers reproduce true surround sound. The screen has a “bright” mode for watching movies with enhanced color saturation and a “safe” mode for eye protection in low light.
Tablet accessories sold separately – rugged case and Bluetooth keyboard.

The largest tablet with a frameless screen. It occupies almost 85% of the front side. It is convenient to use an inexpensive gadget – the metal case with a rough coating does not slip in your hands. With a thickness of less than 8 mm, the tablet will fit even in a small handbag.
The tablet has enough power to run Asphalt 9, Genshin Impact and similar games with high graphics settings. The Multi-Window function works with 3 applications at the same time and adjusts the size of each window. The gadget is synchronized with a Huawei or Honor laptop. So run apps on the big screen and share files instantly.
Battery lasts 12 hours of video or 7 hours of gaming. 30 minutes of recharging is enough for another 2.5 hours. But remember that access to Google media services is limited – check if your favorite games and applications will work before buying.

Good big tablet for the whole family. There is a child mode that restricts access to settings and blocks online payments. Parents can set the maximum duration of the game and web surfing, as well as create a “black” and “white” list of sites.
Unlike other 4G tablets, this model can be used without a SIM card, keeping all functions. When synchronizing with a smartphone, it automatically gets access to the Internet. If the phone is locked, calls and messages are redirected to the tablet. The A-series models are slightly slower than the Galaxy Tab S – you can see micro-lags when scrolling through the pages.
Each user can create their own profile with authorization by photo, password or graphic code – data and files will be available only to the administrator.

games and watching videos. Rough metal body is pleasant to the touch. This is ideal if you are afraid that the tablet will “boil” from work in hot weather.
Multiple accounts can be created. To enter the profile, you need to look into the front camera lens. Kids Mode with a colorful interface launches pre-selected games and apps. The built-in app sends a warning to parents if the child spends a lot of time in front of the screen or slouches in the chair. By the way, the tablet will not handle PUBG and other serious games – this will be an advantage for younger students, but older ones may be disappointed.
A desktop docking station is available for an inexpensive large-screen tablet. In this mode, the Google Assistant voice assistant is available – it controls the smart home, turns on music and searches for information on the Internet.

The cheapest model is a portable cinema. Huawei ClariVu AI enhances image quality by automatically adjusting the contrast and color saturation of every frame. The audio system, created by experts from Harman / Kardon, reproduces surround sound regardless of how you hold the gadget – vertically or horizontally.
Large tablet launches one application in two different windows to search for more information while reading an article or compare photos. A dark theme improves nighttime comfort, while Reading Mode reduces eye strain and reduces blue light.
Very light tablet (only 450g) – perfect for travel. But with a high brightness of the backlight, the operating time is greatly reduced – up to 5–5.5 hours.
Kids can use it for distance learning – taking tests and solving problems on the big screen is much more convenient.

Lenovo Tab M10 Plus
Price — 13 990 rubles*
Inexpensive large tablet with aluminum body and 4G support. It got into the top because of the bright image, which does not fade even under the rays of the sun. Stereo speakers reproduce clear surround sound, and the processor will run most games with minimal graphics settings. An 8-megapixel autofocus camera allows you to take sharp photos and “scan” documents into digital format. But the quality of the video from the front camera is poor – you need to choose a good angle for video communication.
There is a children’s mode that includes only selected content and blocks access to unwanted sites and applications.

The affordable price of a large-screen tablet makes it an ideal choice for schoolchildren. The performance is enough for reading, watching HD videos and simple games – logic games, quests and runners. You should not count on resource-intensive applications. But with the help of child mode, you can limit the time of use and block the Internet connection. The battery will last up to 10 hours of battery life.
Stereo speakers produce clear surround sound – enough for movies and music.

The world’s largest tablet
The 21st century is witnessing the rapid growth of the entire computer industry. However, the most demanded in the market were portable devices. Today’s mobile devices can easily compete with personal computers five years ago. Tablets deserve special attention. These devices are a cross between a smartphone and a netbook, giving users the ability to work with productive applications, play games and stay connected using the Internet and mobile communications.
The main advantage here is the mobility of the device. The tablet can be taken with you on any trip and travel, it can be useful both at work, study, and on vacation. However, some tablets are comparable in size to their older brothers, and some even surpass them. In this article, we will talk about which is the largest tablet in the world, and also talk about nine more models with large displays.
First Place – Ardic Technology London Edition
This tablet is larger than a powerful supercomputer. The diagonal of its screen is as much as 383 inches. This tablet is installed on the streets of London. His installation lasted all day. The tablet is also connected to a huge keyboard of the appropriate size. Between the keys there are even special tracks that allow you to get to the desired button as quickly as possible. Of course, Ardic Technology London Edition is more of an ART project than a real device.
Nevertheless, this is not just a mock-up, it is a real device that has a workable stuffing. It was created in support of the tablets of the Turkish company Ardic Technology, whose models are also famous for their screen. It is noteworthy that despite the fact that the London version of the tablet runs on Microsoft’s operating system, most of the company’s products run on Android, which is more popular among mobile devices than Windows Mobile.
Runner-up – Ardic Technology Mobile
Second place belongs to the tablet of the same company, only a smaller copy of what is installed on the streets of London. The main difference, besides the size, is that the younger brother runs on the Android operating system, which is more popular among mobile device enthusiasts than Windows. The tablet can be connected to another tablet, the usual size, with which you can control the model. In fact, the device is a TV with a touch screen. Excellent screen quality, viewing angles and color reproduction make it easy to use the tablet in this way. The first generation model works only on the two-touch system. Future generations will need to be able to support three to five simultaneous touches.
Among other things, Ardic Technology has a fairly good stuffing, since the dimensions made it possible to install powerful hardware and a rechargeable battery. There are also two cameras, one of them is front-facing. And otherwise, the tablet does not differ from the classic models: WI-FI support, USB ports and HDMI are available.
Third place – Panasonic Toughpad 4K UT-MB5
The third largest tablet computer in the world is the Panasonic Toughpad 4K UT-MB5. This model has 256 gigabytes of internal memory, which is a very, very good indicator for modern devices of this type. The size of RAM is 8 gigabytes, which, coupled with a powerful processor from Intel, allows you to use this tablet as a gaming tablet. Additionally, there is 2 gigabytes of video memory. In the presence of all the necessary means of communication, including WI-FI, Bluetooth, USB-ports 3.0 and support for Sim-cards. As expected, the tablet is equipped with two cameras. The front camera takes pictures with a resolution of 1280×1024 pixels. The model has the same weakness as many other mobile devices – lack of battery power. With intensive use, it only lasts for two hours.
The tablet supports ten simultaneous touches. In addition, the kit comes with a special stylus, which simplifies the interaction with the tablet in some cases. In addition, the model has excellent materials. Here and fiberglass, and magnesium alloy. The device can withstand drops from a distance of several tens of centimeters.
Fourth place – Google Pixel C
Android tablets released by Google have always been famous for their high quality. The Pixel C is no exception. There is an excellent screen, the diagonal of which will please those who like to use the tablet to watch videos. Despite its size, the model is famous for its ultra-thin body, which is another advantage of the device. The device has everything that a modern tablet should have. This includes Wi-fi support, third-generation built-in USB ports, Bluetooth, SIM card support, and much more. The chip of the model is a special removable keyboard that connects to Pixel C using Bluetooth wireless technology. In addition, the tablet is equipped with a fairly reliable rechargeable battery. The disadvantage of the model is its weight, which may seem excessive.
Fifth place – Apple iPad Pro 9.7
Read more: The smallest cell phone
The latest version of the iPad also features a larger screen size. Nevertheless, Apple has found a balance where the tablet remains as convenient as possible to use, but at the same time has a large screen. The 12.9-inch tablet received an updated camera that takes even better pictures than previous generations of iPads. The advantages of the model are also high performance, the presence of an anti-reflective coating on the screen.
In addition, the device supports extremely useful accessories such as Pencil and Keyboard. They are, respectively, a stylus and a keyboard. The disadvantages of the device are its high price, as well as the high price of all accessories. In addition, the IOS operating system, in comparison with its main competitor, Android, has a number of limitations, but they do not greatly disturb the huge army of Apple product fans.
Sixth place – Google Nexus 9
The second representative of Google in this list. The Nexus line has managed to gain immense popularity with the relevant public. Models from this series have always been not only large in size, but also excellent in performance. Nexus 9was no exception. The main disadvantage of the model is the volume of its battery, as well as the low charging speed. In addition, many users note that the screen response to touch is not good enough.
Seventh place – Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7
Samsung Galaxy Tab is a line of full-sized tablets from Samsung. Among other things, the model has a very light weight, which is often a weak point for such devices. The tablet is also deprived of another popular drawback. Its rechargeable battery allows you to work with the device for a very long time, and the charging speed is very high. Like all the latest models of mobile gadgets from Samsung, Tab S2 9.7 has a fingerprint sensor that allows you to securely lock the device.
Eighth place – Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet
The Japanese company Sony also has a representative in the full-size tablet market. This is the Z Tablet series. Z4 will please its owner not only with an excellent screen, but also with productive hardware. In addition, the device is very thin and quite light. The Z4 is waterproof and also completely dustproof inside the case. The assembly of the tablet is also very reliable and can withstand drops from a height of several tens of centimeters. The disadvantage of the device is the low quality of accessories. So, for example, the wireless keyboard designed for this device is very inconvenient.
Ninth place – Microsoft Surface Pro 4
A full-sized device from Microsoft that runs the Windows operating system, appeared on the market recently and immediately won the attention of a large number of fans.
