First, a question of terminology.
So, can someone please remove this fog? What is the difference between a microwave oven and a microwave oven?
“Microwave oven” is short for “microwave oven”. Both terms mean the same thing: a device that uses microwave radiation to heat food. Cooking food in this way is called “microwave”. An oven, on the other hand, has a heating element that heats the air inside and then heats up the food. Cooking food in this way is commonly referred to as “baking”, although there are many other things (such as roasting) that can also reasonably be done in the oven.
So if all you have is a microwave, all you can do is microwave (not bake). And if you have an oven, then you can bake (but of course you can’t microwave).
There are also combinations that can bake both and microwave ovens, i.e. they have microwave emitter and heating element. However, remember that in the US – and thus most of the internet – something that says “microwave” probably doesn’t mean that combination, but just microwave heating. Type names “convection microwave with grill”, “combination microwave” to , however, apply to these combinations. I also saw “convection microwave”. You may have occasionally seen people refer to these combinations of microwaves as “microwave” (I think this may be common in Indian English), but it’s actually just inaccurate language.
Some websites say the “microwave oven” is only for reheating or reheating cooked food. While in “microwave ovens” you can microwave and bake. This is true?
As in this statement, “microwave oven” is casual language, referring to the combination of microwave oven and oven. (Otherwise it doesn’t make any sense; two things are the same thing, so of course you can do the same thing in them)
So the question is, what can you do in a microwave microwave?
It is true that microwaves are mainly used to heat cooked food, and it is true that they cannot actually bake. However, they can do lot more than warm food; besides baking, there are many other ways of cooking. For example, microwaves great when boiling and steaming, and it doesn’t matter if the food has already been cooked or not. The recipes you’re talking about are probably mostly in these categories, but if you’re interested, How do you know if a food or recipe can be made in the microwave? discusses in a little more detail what works in a microwave.
Great things you can do with ovens but not microwave ovens are the things that really need the steady dry heat of baking. Do not bake bread, cookies or fry chicken in the microwave. Microwaves churn out steam and don’t get terribly hot, so you can’t generally get things to brown or crispy up. They also don’t hold the temperature you need for baking, they just pump more and more heat into the food.

To illustrate, a microwave oven is different from a microwave oven. Please keep in mind that you can bake as much in the microwave as you can with the oven. The fact is that a microwave oven is a microwave oven that has a higher class compared to a microwave oven. And in such a microwave oven, you can cook cakes, muffins, pizza, bread, etc.
