Getting your hands on a cheap Razer laptop deal is undoubtedly one of the best ways to take home a quality bit of kit without the need to spend an extortionate amount of cash. Of course, deals like this can be rare but thankfully Amazon Prime Day is nearly here and we know a few tips and tricks which can be employed to help keep costs down.

CES 2023 unveiled two new Razer Blade devices, including the Razer Blade 16 and 18. Meanwhile, 2022’s releases have now been out for more than a year, meaning it’s well worth looking into the 2021 and 2020 ranges for the best-value Razer laptop deals. Razer produces some of the best gaming laptops on the market right now.

The best Razer laptops pack the latest components into impossibly portable footprints with a slimline and lightweight flourish. Add gorgeous displays and plenty of customization and you’ve got a machine working particularly hard to justify its higher price tag. Even 2021 and 2020 releases still live up to this name, with price tags that are rapidly receding.

That’s why cheap Razer laptop deals are so exciting. When they do appear, there’s some serious value for money up for grabs, even if you’re dropping down your GPU generation to score a top offer. After all, gaming laptop deals are rarely cheap in themselves, but there’s often far better value for money in this upper-midrange than in the entry-level bracket.

2022 brought about a new series of Razer laptops to the market, but these machines have stubbornly held onto their MSRPs for a while now. We are starting to see some retailers offering discounts on these high-end machines, though, so it’s time to start tracking the latest generation’s prices.

It’s true, we really haven’t seen many Razer laptop deals hitting these monsters. If you’re looking to invest in a high-end rig you’re still going to have to pay those high-end prices here. However, as we move into the holiday sales period it’s well worth keeping a close eye on this range (and comparing prices like for like against the 2021 versions) for the best value on the shelves.

2021’s lineup of Razer Blade laptops is starting to drop its price now that the 2022 versions have hit the shelves. That means you’ll likely be able to score Razer laptop deals on RTX 30-Series configurations, with both AMD and Intel processing options up for grabs as well.

While the Stealth 13 model received an upgrade to Intel’s 11th generation processors (though still holding onto that GTX 1650 graphics card), the Blade 15 holds onto a 10th generation CPU. That’s not to say you’re going to be getting dramatically less power out of these cheaper Razer laptops, but you may be less future-proofed as a result. However, the Pro 17 does still offer some 11th generation configurations.

However, 2021 also brought the AMD Razer Blade 14 into the mix – a nifty machine built to take on some of the larger gaming laptops out there while also offering the form factor to make a MacBook jealous. This is still considered a luxury piece of kit, though, so prices do sit a little higher here.

The cheapest 2021 Razer laptops will still come in at around $1,799 / £1,799.99 – but that’s considerably less than some of the more premium cutting-edge options hitting the market these days.

You’ll find all the latest Razer laptop deals on the 2021 series just below.

Cheap Razer laptop deals (2020 Series)

The 2020 series of Razer Blade laptops are starting to look a little old now, with 10th generation Intel processors and graphics cards ranging from the GTX 1660Ti to the RTX 2080. However, these cheap Razer laptops certainly shouldn’t be written off because of their age. They’re still incredibly powerful performers, with a form factor that makes them perfect for both work and play. Plus, you’re going to be saving considerably on that price tag, especially if you’re after a smaller configuration for luxury everyday gaming.

You can generally pick up a 2020 Razer Blade 15 for as little as $1,499 / £1,499, but these models are now regularly on sale so there are plenty of cheap Razer laptop deals to take advantage of here.

Razer laptop deals: FAQs

Which Razer Blade laptop should you buy?

The Blade 15 is the go-to laptop in the range. Coming in two models or editions – Base and Advanced – it has the perfect balance of size, components, power, display, design, and portability for its price.

The Pro is the model for those that want serious power and a large display to view it on. These beasts only have top-end RTX graphics cards within, as well as premium display options and powerful CPUs.

The smallest of the bunch, the Stealth, was once considered only a notebook Razer laptop. These days it can certainly hold its own against the rest, albeit with a watered-down spec sheet that will appeal far more to those after some light gaming. If you’re after a machine tailor-made for throwing into a laptop backpack, this is the lightweight solution for you.

How much is the cheapest Razer laptop?

The cheapest Razer laptop worth picking up in 2023 is likely the 2020 Razer Blade 15 Base model – at around $1,599 / £1,599. That’s simply MSRP, though, and we’ve seen Razer laptop deals dropping this model as low as $1,299 / £1,299 in the past.

Why are Razer laptops expensive?

Even the cheapest Razer laptops can still carry a hefty premium. While they do often utilize the latest and greatest components, however, a lot of that final price comes down to the build quality and slimline design. There’s also added Razer tax for the luxury of picking up a Chroma-enabled system from one of the biggest peripheral brands on the market.

There’s no denying, though, that these are incredibly well-designed machines. The best Alienware laptops can offer comparable performance, but do so in much larger chassis’ that aren’t nearly as portable. The Razer Blade is portable enough to function as both a work and play machine, so it’s a true investment in both areas.

Does Razer regularly have laptop sales?

Razer itself actually offers some of the more reliable discounts on its machines. You’ll regularly find cheap Razer laptops available via the brand’s own site during busy periods – we’d recommend checking around Amazon Prime Day, Black Friday, and during the back-to-school rush from July to September. However, it’s always worth price-checking your offer against larger retailers – Amazon, for example, sometimes has even larger discounts during these sale periods.

If you’re after a look through the rest of the competition, you’ll find plenty more of the latest offers just below. These discounts cover everything from RTX 3050 laptop deals to RTX 3080 laptop deals, but you’ll find plenty of RTX 3060 laptops and RTX 3070 laptops on sale as well. Razer Announces Blade 16 and Blade 18 Gaming Laptops – 13th Gen Intel Core CPU and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 Series GPU

Razer is no stranger to high-performance gaming laptops. With the introduction of 13th generation Intel Core processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series graphics accelerators, it seems that developers are trying to fit as much power as possible into their new Blade 16 and Blade 18 gaming laptops, which will go on sale later this year.

The new Razer laptops will be available in a variety of configurations, including versions with 13th Gen Intel Core HX processors and GeForce RTX 4090 mobile graphics. indicator of autonomy. Razer is not following this path as the Blade 16 and Blade 18 will use graphics cards with TGP levels up to 175W.

Note that the Blade 16 is slightly different in size from the Blade 15. The width of the laptop has increased by only 5 mm – 21.99 mm versus 16.99 for the Blade 15. With a weight of 2.4 kg, the Blade 16 laptop can hardly be called heavy, especially given the level of performance it can provide.

Of particular note is the Blade 16 mini-LED display, which has a 16:10 aspect ratio, peak brightness of 1000 cd/m² and supports two modes of operation: 4K at 120Hz refresh rate and FHD+ at 240Hz refresh rate. The Blade 18 does not have a screen mode selection option. Selecting modes can be handy, depending on what you’re using your laptop for. Note that when using the FHD + mode and 240 Hz, the peak brightness indicator drops to 600 cd / m². To switch between modes, you need to reboot the device, which may not be very convenient.

As for the Blade 18, Razer says it’s the most powerful gaming laptop the company has ever made. In addition to top-notch hardware, the laptop features a 240Hz QHD+ resolution display and a 5MP webcam that can be used for live streaming. The audio subsystem is based on six speakers with support for THX spatial sound. Like the Blade 16, the Blade 18 has a large number of interfaces for connecting additional equipment, including several USB Type-C connectors, HDMI 2.1 and Ethernet (only on the Blade 18).

As you might expect, the cost of the new Razer laptops is unlikely to please potential buyers. The Blade 16 starts at $2,700, while the cheapest Blade 18 starts at $2,900. In the maximum configuration, both models will cost more than $3,500. New items should go on sale in the first quarter of 2023.

Razer Brand History topic class, who wants to take their games to the next level. However, this did not last long. The brand’s popularity has skyrocketed with the release of a number of top-selling peripherals, including the Deathadder (V2), Basilisk, Kraken, and Hunstman to name a few, and has quickly become a household name when discussing gaming peripherals.

Fast forward 10 years, and now Razer is diving into all kinds of gaming hardware, from laptops to high-end displays, and pretty much everything in between.

So with all that in mind, let’s dive into the best Razer laptops of 2022!

How we choose

Whether we’re looking at new monitors or the best GPUs on the market, choosing the right hardware can always be a daunting task.

It takes hours of product research, performance benchmarking, and user feedback to get any closer to a final conclusion on what to recommend.

If you’re not tech-savvy and struggle to make the time to meet the above requirements, you may end up buying a gaming laptop that just isn’t right for you.

But don’t be afraid, friends! Here at WePC, we like to take the stress out of research and turn the whole process into a clear and complete guide for buyers. That’s right, our team of PC enthusiasts have done all the hard work for you!

What to Look for When Buying a Razer

Laptop With every hardware purchase, there are many specification considerations that affect the overall experience of the hardware. Below, we’ve outlined what we think are the most important factors to consider when buying a gaming laptop.

The Power of Performance

Whenever we talk about gaming, whether it’s a GPU or a high-end gaming PC, performance is always at the top of the priority list. The performance of a gaming laptop is a combination of several factors, including the power of your CPU, GPU, and RAM. As a gamer, you need to understand how each of these affects your overall gaming experience in order to choose the right laptop for your needs.

  • CPU: The CPU (or central processing unit) is the brain inside your computer that executes the basic instructions of a computer program. The processor affects everything from gaming performance to web browsing, so choosing the right processor for your needs is critical. As a rule of thumb, gamers should look for at least 4 cores/4 threads and a base clock speed of 3 GHz. While many processors outperform this performance, we believe it is the foundation to look at when gaming is a priority.
  • GPU: A GPU is a graphics processing unit that does pretty much what it says on the bank – it renders graphics. The GPU is the number one factor when evaluating FPS in a game, so choosing the right one is extremely important. For modern gaming, we recommend choosing a laptop with RX 570 or higher. This will provide half a decent frame rate in most games.
Here is our complete guide to the GPU hierarchy.
  • RAM: Finally, we have RAM. Working memory is working memory, information that can be accessed at any time and in any order. RAM will affect how fast your machine will run multi-tasking type scripts, so you should familiarize yourself with speed and capacity before making your next purchase.

Storage

Like all PCs, gaming laptops need the right storage to run properly and efficiently. Familiarizing yourself with the differences between repositories can greatly impact your experience—and in more than one way.

First, capacity. The capacity of your storage device will ultimately determine how much software and games you can store on your laptop. So choosing a model with 128GB of memory probably won’t suit your gaming needs, especially considering that COD: Modern Warefare is over 100GB in size!

Further speed. There are two main types of storage solutions; HDD and SSD. The latter is the newer of the two and is much faster in terms of read and write capabilities. Choosing an SSD over a hard drive might be more expensive, but you increase load times, game loading times, and browsing speed by choosing it.

Panel technology

Panel technology refers to your notebook display. Most people probably shrug their shoulders at the thought of learning panel technology, assuming it won’t affect their overall experience – oh, they’re wrong.

Each display is designed with a specific panel technology, each with its own unique set of pros and cons that suit specific scenarios such as gaming. Three main types of panels: IPS, TN and VA. Below is a general idea of what each of them brings to the table:

As you can see, each of the panel types is very different. For example, if you need very accurate colors, an IPS panel is your best bet. Alternatively, if competitive gaming is more your thing, TN is probably the way to go. Understand what each panel technology has to offer, and you might save a few dollars in the process.

Size and weight

Size and weight are pretty basic factors when it comes to buying a laptop. At the same time, no one wants to carry around a huge bulky laptop, right?

Unfortunately, gaming laptops are still quite heavy, so it’s not easy to get a thin model, especially if you’re on a tight budget. That being said, the gaming monitor is extremely versatile and comes in multiple sizes to suit your needs. Ultimately, finding the right size and weight for your needs comes down to personal preference. Fortunately, there are plenty to choose from.

Why choose a Razer gaming laptop?

Let’s be honest, choosing a gaming laptop is never easy. You part with a large amount of money. Choosing the right one for your needs is absolutely essential. That being said, there are many benefits to buying a Razer gaming laptop – here are the best ones.

Setup

Hardware setup is one of the biggest benefits you get when you work directly with Razer. Users have the ability to customize the GPU, processor, display, and aesthetic finish of the laptop they buy—a luxury that most other retailers don’t offer.

Latest Technology

Razer has taken the lead in bringing the latest technology available to as many of its products as possible. The same goes for their impressive range of laptops. While Razer laptops can be pricey, the high-performance hardware inside justifies the price.

Ultra-slim design

As we mentioned earlier, it’s not always easy to find a gaming laptop that combines style and performance. Having said that, Razer seems to have cracked the code with a few of their high-end offerings. With an ultra-thin design that would almost put Apple to shame, their laptops not only perform great, they look great too.

Best Razer Laptop of 2022

1. Best Razer Gaming Laptop Overall

Razer Blade Pro 17 (2021) FHD 360Hz

  • Processor – Intel Core i7-10875H
  • Graphics – NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Notebook
  • RAM – 32 GB
  • Storage – 1 TB SSD

  • Amazing 360Hz refresh rate
  • Excellent color reproduction

  • Thin and light
  • Excellent build quality
  • Good selection of ports and connectors
  • CONS 90 014

    • Ideally would be a more powerful processor
    • Expensive
    • Short battery life

The late 2021 Razer Blades series, powered by Nvidia’s latest 30-series GPUs, has many different possible downloads for you to choose from, but this Razer Blade 17 with a 360Hz FHD screen is our personal favorite for games.

This premium gaming laptop features an RTX 3080 GPU with a 130W higher TGP, meaning performance surpasses the frustrating efforts of the early 2021 version, which was hindered by lower maximum voltages in games. The graphics card is paired with an 11th gen Intel Core i7-11800H processor, not the fastest processor behind the higher Intel i9 models and not as good as the top AMD 5900HX and 5980HX, but it’s still a pretty powerful chip. if your only interests are gaming and it still handles most moderately demanding workstation rendering tasks well.

As with all Razer Blades, the screen quality, contrast and color reproduction of the display is outstanding, with a wide color gamut and good loading fidelity, which means it can be used for a graphical workflow along with gaming if you’re into that sort of thing. While some may wonder why we didn’t opt for the 1440p version of the Razer Blade 17, the upgrade over price isn’t something we consider worthy for most gamers with a 17-inch display, although it’s largely a matter of subjective priorities. On this page, we also opted for the 1440p option, although it comes with a weaker GPU, RAM, and SSD.

This machine, in contrast, comes with a whopping 32GB of RAM, making it great for heavy web browsing and multi-tasking, and a good size 1TB SSD. Like all laptops on this page, it comes with a wide range of connectors and ports, including Thunderbolt 3.0. In fact, the only real downside to this laptop is the price. After all, quality doesn’t come cheap.

    2. Razer’s best laptop for competitive gaming and maximizing FPS

    Razer Blade 15 (2021) FHD 360Hz

    • Processor – Intel Core i7-10875H
    • Graphics – NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Notebook
    • RAM – 32 GB memory
    • Storage – 1 TB SSD
    • Screen size – 15.6 ″
    • The maximum update frequency is 360 Hz

    pluses

    • Amazing update frequency 360 Hz
    • Excellent color reproduction
    • 32GB RAM
    • Great contrast and brightness
    • Thin and light
    • Great build quality
    • Good selection of ports and connectors

    CONS

    • Ideally would be a more powerful processor
    • Expensive
    • Short time battery life

While for us the 17.3″ FHD 360Hz version of the Razer Blade Pro is the preferred option if your priority is solely to get the most FPS out of your laptop and you don’t Mind exchanging that for a slightly smaller screen, then the Razer Blade Pro 15 might be the best option for you.

You can get a variant of this laptop that is otherwise identical except for the screen to its 17.3-inch sibling for about $200 less, or you can try the upgraded i7-11800H version for about $100 less. than our best choice, which would be our recommendation. While CPUs aren’t as important as GPUs for boosting FPS in your games, you’ll still notice a difference, making the Razer Blade Pro 15 with i7-11800H processor the best option for gamers.

This laptop comes with the same great 1TB SSD, 32GB RAM and a full array of ports, but has the added benefit of being even lighter than the 17-inch version. Combined with the smaller diameters, this is an excellent laptop for those who work and play on the go (although, as with all gaming laptops, you’ll need to be connected to a network to get decent gaming performance).

You’ll get slightly better battery life from a smaller display, but it still leaves a lot to be desired, however given the powerful internals, it’s no wonder it draws a lot of juice. All in all, this is a premium gaming laptop of the highest quality.

    3. Best Razer Portable Gaming Laptop

Razer Blade 14 Gaming Laptop AMD (RTX 3080, 1440p, 165Hz)

    • Processor – AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX
    • Graphics – NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (8 GB ) 90-100W
    • RAM – 16GB
    • Storage – 1TB SSD
    • Screen Size – 14″
    • Max Refresh Rate – 165Hz

    PROS

    • AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX – Excellent Processor
    • RTX 3080 in a compact gaming laptop
    • Excellent color reproduction
    • Thin and light
    • Excellent build quality
    • Good response time for a small laptop

    MIN MUSCLE

    • Total 16 GB of RAM, which cannot be upgraded.
    • Expensive
    • Low TGP RTX 3080 GPU
    • Only 8GB RTX 3080 VRAM
    • Quite loud fans

If portability isn’t your number one priority, we generally don’t suggest using a 14″ gaming laptop due to the loss of gaming immersion that most people will feel as a result of a smaller display. However, if you’re in the mood for a gaming machine of this size, the Razer Blade 14 is the most powerful option and impressive engineering.

RTX 3080 only has 8GB VRAM (compared to the other 16GB VRAM listed here) and has a rather low TGP of 90-100W, both of which are limitations imposed by the small size of the machine. However, paired with a very powerful AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX processor, you can still expect great FPS in the latest games at the highest graphics settings. The high multi-core performance of the AMD processor also allows you to quickly complete the most demanding rendering tasks, which means that the Razer Blade 14 can work well as a portable workstation for creative people.

In addition, the Razer Blade 14’s screen has around 99.8% sRGB coverage and around 83% AdobeRGB coverage, so it’s suitable for working with light colors in sRGB space (something higher 1440p would help for detailed graphic design work) . ). Color reproduction is definitely great for gaming, and the high contrast ratio and peak brightness create a bright and crisp image. Grey-to-grey response times are always slower on 14-inch machines, but the Razer Blade 14 once again takes the lead in this department compared to competitors with a true effective response time of 9ms. The 165Hz refresh rate with FreeSync support is also suitable for fast-paced games.

In terms of weight, the Razer Blade 14 isn’t particularly light, although it’s certainly light enough to be carried without too much trouble, and it’s so thin and small that it can easily fit into even the smallest briefcase or backpack. As you’d expect from Razer, the build quality is top notch thanks to the solid aluminum chassis that feels nice to the touch. All in all, this is the best 14″ gaming laptop money can buy.

    4. Best Razer Studio Laptop

    Razer Blade 15 Studio Edition

    • Processor – i7-10875H
    • GPU – NVIDIA ® 9 0391 Quadro RTX™ 5000 Studio Edition (16GB GDDR6 VRAM)
    • RAM – 32 GB DDR4-2933 MHz
    • Storage – 1 TB SSD
    • Screen Size – 15. 6″ OLED 4K Touch 60Hz
    • Dimensions (LxWxH) – 17.8 mm x 235 mm x 355 mm

    PROS

    • Stunning display
    • Fantastic multitasking performance
    • One of the most powerful graphics processors for image rendering and creative work.
    • High build quality
    • Very nice aesthetic

    CONS

    • Extremely expensive

Moving away from gaming, Razer now caters creative people by offering high performance rendering hardware and stunning displays. The studio version of the Razer Blade 15 is their answer to the cries of creatives.

We have yet to see a 2021 Comet Lake studio laptop release, but the 2020 release still has a strong lead. For the purposes of this article, we have chosen a 15.3-inch 4K OLED touchscreen display. That being said, it’s definitely worth noting that you can get studio versions of the 13″ and 17″ models if that’s more to your liking. By the way, the 15. 6-inch version of this powerful laptop is based on one of the latest Intel processors, the 10th generation i7-10875H. As mentioned above, it’s the same as Blade Pro, offering superior levels of performance whether you’re gaming or doing complex workflow-style tasks. It offers up to 8 cores and 16 threads with a base clock of 2.3GHz and boost of 5.10GHz. These statistics make it one of the most powerful laptop processors on the market today.

Alongside the extremely powerful processor is the Quadro RTX 5000 studio edition GPU, a monster with 16GB of GDDR6 VRAM, fully equipped to handle just about any rendering task you throw at it. While this particular GPU isn’t great value for money when it comes to gaming, it more than makes up for it in workload scenarios.
