Subscription to Apple TV+, MLS Season Pass and Apple TV channels on iPhone

You can subscribe to Apple TV+, MLS Season Pass and Apple TV channels in the Apple TV app. The Apple TV+ streaming service is available on a subscription basis. It lets you watch original Apple content: award-winning series, thrilling dramas, unique documentaries, entertainment for kids, comedies and more. New items appear monthly.

MLS Season Pass is a subscription streaming service that gives you access to all Major League Soccer matches of the current season. Matches are held at a certain time and without the possibility of a blackout.

Apple TV channels are an easy way to subscribe to what you actually watch, like Paramount+, Showtime and more.

A subscription gives you access to on-demand content on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV and supported smart TVs and streaming devices. You can also download content to iPhone, iPad, and Mac for offline viewing.

Subscribing to Apple TV channels

You can subscribe to paid channels such as Paramount+ and Showtime in one app. If you use Family Sharing, up to five members of your family can use your subscription at no additional cost.

Tap the Watch section, scroll down to Channels, then tap a channel.
Tap the subscription button, view your free trial (if available) and subscription details, then follow the on-screen instructions.

Change or cancel your subscription to Apple TV+, MLS Season Pass, or Apple TV channels

Tap Watch, then tap your image or initials in the upper right corner.
Tap Manage Subscriptions.
Follow the onscreen instructions to change or cancel your subscription.

Share Apple TV+, MLS Season Pass, and Apple TV Channels with family members your family. They don’t have to do anything: once your subscription is activated, each member gets access to the shared subscription the first time they launch the Apple TV app.

If you join a family group that has an Apple TV+, MLS Season Pass, Apple TV Channels, or Apple One subscription and you also have that subscription, your subscription will not renew on your next payment date. Instead, you will use a group subscription. If you join a family group that does not have a subscription, the group will use your subscription.

To stop sharing your subscription with a family group, you can cancel your subscription, leave the family group, remove a member from the family group, or stop using Family Sharing (if you are the family group organizer).

With the Apple TV app, you can subscribe to channels that interest you without having to download other apps. You can then watch the content included with your subscription directly in the Apple TV on-demand app and across all your devices. ¹ .

How to subscribe to Apple TV channels

Subscribe now

Open the Apple TV app.
Go to the Watch section.
Scroll down to the Additional Channels section to try it out.
Find the desired channel and open it.
Click the “Subscribe” or “Try for free” button.
Enter your Apple ID and password to purchase a channel subscription. If you forgot your Apple ID

The cost depends on the channel. Before confirming your subscription, you can view detailed information about the trial period, monthly cost, and renewal terms. You can subscribe not only to Apple TV channels, but also to Apple TV+ to watch original content from the most talented movie and TV show creators.

Watch Apple TV channels in the Apple TV app

Open the Apple TV app.
Go to the Watch section.
Scroll down to the My Channels section.
Open a channel you subscribe to in the Apple TV app for streaming without having to download the channel app. ² .

With Apple TV Channels, you can:

Access subscription channels on any device that’s signed into the Apple TV app with your Apple ID.
Stream content from a channel to up to 3 devices at the same time if you are part of a Family Sharing group. ² Some channels may be allowed to stream to more than three devices at the same time. Learn more about the limits for multi-device streaming.
Download content from channels you subscribe to in the Apple TV app.

For some Apple TV channels, you can sign in to that channel’s website or app with the same Apple ID that you use to view content in the Apple TV app.

If you’re having trouble accessing an Apple TV channel subscription in the Apple TV app, you may need to unsubscribe on the channel’s website or app and then resubscribe to the channel in the Apple TV app.

You can watch all content on demand and without ads. Some devices that support the Apple TV app may not be able to watch Apple TV channels. Some broadcasts on some channels may include commercial breaks. Some channels may allow you to watch live TV shows that contain ads. To watch live TV channels with the Apple TV app, you may need to turn on Location Services on your device.
When traveling overseas, streaming content from some channels may not be available. Before you leave your country or region, download the movies or TV shows you want to watch.
